Description
Deep black crossed by a golden veil that ripples in the light, the gold sheen obsidian bracelet is probably the most luminous of all obsidians. Shaped by hand from natural stones, it is the bracelet you reach for on the days you want a little warmth and shine, without giving up understated elegance.
Gold sheen obsidian owes its sheen to a natural optical effect: fine magnetite inclusions set into the volcanic glass diffract the light and create that characteristic golden, faintly blue shimmer. In crystal healing, this variety shares the protective qualities of its black cousin while adding a sunnier dimension. It is credited with an energy of self-confidence and inner warmth, linked to the root chakra for grounding and to the solar plexus for will. It is described as a gentler, more enveloping obsidian, a lovely way in for anyone discovering the obsidian family.

Every bracelet is put together by hand in my workshop in France. I choose the gold sheen obsidian beads one by one, holding them up to the light to find the one where the golden eye is at its best, and watch over every finish, so the piece arriving at your door is one of a kind.
