Medical Disclaimer
I love stones deeply, and what they bring to everyday life. But your health matters more: here, openly, is what crystal healing can, and cannot, do for you.
Last updated: [17/06/2026]
In short: crystal healing is a wellbeing practice. It can sit alongside your everyday life, but it does not treat anything and never replaces the advice or treatment of a doctor. If you have any concern about your health, always speak to a healthcare professional.
What is crystal healing?
Crystal healing covers a set of practices built around the use of stones and minerals for relaxation, calm and general wellbeing. The properties or "virtues" that tradition attributes to stones come from long-standing beliefs and cultural transmission.
These properties are not recognised by conventional medicine and rest, as things stand, on no validated scientific evidence. I share this world sincerely and with real enthusiasm, but also in complete honesty with you.
A wellbeing practice, not a treatment
The jewellery and stones I offer are objects of wellbeing, adornment and decoration. They are in no way medical devices, and they carry no promise of curing or relieving any condition whatsoever.
When I describe a stone as "calming", "energising" or "protective", those words refer to the crystal healing tradition and to how each person feels, not to any demonstrated medical effect.
No medical advice, diagnosis or prescription
The information on this website, stone descriptions, traditional uses, wellbeing suggestions, is provided for information and cultural interest only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a prescription.
I am not a healthcare professional and I am not qualified to give medical advice of any kind.
Crystal healing never replaces a treatment
Crystal healing may accompany a wellbeing routine, but it is in no way a substitute for medical care, a consultation, a prescribed treatment or taking medication.
Never stop, change or replace a treatment you are on without the explicit advice of your doctor. Stopping a treatment on your own initiative can have serious consequences for your health.
Speak to a healthcare professional
If you have a symptom, pain, an illness or any concern about your health, physical or mental, see a doctor or a qualified healthcare professional. Only a qualified professional can make a diagnosis and offer treatment suited to your situation.
Handling stones safely
Never swallow stones or make "elixirs" to drink
Never place a stone in water or in drinks meant to be consumed, and never swallow minerals. Several stones contain toxic substances (copper, lead, mercury, arsenic and so on) or dissolve on contact with water. That is the case, and this list is not exhaustive, for malachite, cinnabar, galena and certain stones containing pyrite.
Keep out of reach of children and pets
Small stones and beads are a swallowing and choking hazard. Keep them out of reach of young children and pets.
Skin, allergies and care
If you notice redness, itching or irritation, stop wearing the piece: some metal settings can cause allergic reactions. Some stones are also sensitive to water, salt or prolonged sun exposure; do refer to the care advice given for each piece.
When extra care is needed
Some situations call for particular caution. Please ask your doctor's advice before taking up any wellbeing practice if you are:
- pregnant or breastfeeding;
- an infant, child or teenager;
- elderly or in frail health;
- living with a chronic or serious condition;
- currently on medical treatment.
Mental health and emotional distress
Crystal healing is not a treatment for psychological or psychiatric conditions. If you are going through a period of anxiety, low mood, depression or distress, please don't face it alone: talk to your GP, a psychologist, or someone you trust. Professional support matters, and it helps.
In an emergency
Crystal healing has no place in an emergency. If you are facing a medical emergency or a crisis, don't lose time, contact the emergency services straight away.
If you are reading this from outside the United Kingdom, please use your own country's emergency number. In France, for instance: 15 (SAMU), 112, or 3114 for suicide prevention.
No promised results
How a stone feels is subjective and personal: it varies from one person to another and cannot be guaranteed. No particular effect can be promised or assured.
Limitation of liability
Camille cannot be held responsible for the use made of the information or products presented on this website, nor for any decision taken on that basis. Every visitor remains solely responsible for their own health choices.
