Delivery & Returns

Preparing your order

My jewellery is made by hand, either to order or in very small batches. I therefore prepare your parcel with care within 2 to 4 working days, then email you as soon as it is on its way.

Delivery

Orders are sent from France as a tracked parcel. UK delivery is free on orders over £40; below that, the cost depends on the destination and is shown at checkout.

Customs and import charges

Your parcel is dispatched from France. Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, a parcel arriving in the UK may be subject to import VAT and, in some cases, customs duty, depending on the value of the order and how it is declared. Where such charges apply, they are payable by the recipient and are not included in the price shown at checkout.

If you would like an estimate before ordering, do get in touch and I will tell you what to expect for your basket.

Tracking your parcel

As soon as your order is dispatched I email you a tracking number so you can follow the parcel all the way to your door. If you can't find it, do check your spam folder, or write to me.

Returns & your right to cancel

Changed your mind? You have 14 days from receiving your order to send it back to me, without having to give a reason, under your right to cancel.

Return conditions

• The piece must be unworn, in its original condition, with its gift box.
• For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged once the box has been opened.
• Personalised or made-to-measure pieces cannot be returned.

How to go about it

Write to me at contact@bijoux-obsidienne.fr quoting your order number, and I'll talk you through sending it back.

Return postage is at your expense, unless I have made a mistake or the item is faulty.

Refunds

Once your return has arrived and been checked, I issue the refund within 14 days at the latest, to the payment method used for the order. I'll email you as soon as it's done.

Exchanges

Would you prefer a different size or another design? Get in touch and we'll find the best solution together, subject to what is still available, every piece being one of a kind.

Damaged parcels and mistakes

If your parcel arrives damaged, or if the item you receive doesn't match your order, write to me within 48 hours with a photograph and I'll sort it out, at my expense.
