The obsidian bracelet, a stone to wear every day

A bracelet is probably the simplest way to keep obsidian close to you. Long regarded in crystal healing as a stone of protection and grounding, black obsidian is worn quietly, all day long. Every obsidian bracelet in this collection is strung by hand, in my workshop, with stones chosen one at a time.

What does a black obsidian bracelet mean?
In crystal healing, black obsidian is seen as a stone of protection and grounding. Worn on the wrist, where it stays with you all day, it is traditionally described as a quiet shield that helps you feel more settled. Tradition has it worn on the left wrist to receive its energy, and on the right to shield outwards. It is a symbolic, wellbeing tradition rather than a medical one, I go into the detail in my article on the benefits of an obsidian bracelet.
How do I choose my bracelet size?
Measure your wrist with a tape measure (or a piece of string), then add roughly 1 to 1.5 cm for comfort. My size guide sets it all out, with a chart and a calculator. If in doubt, drop me a message and I'll point you in the right direction.
Are your bracelets really handmade?
Yes: every bracelet is strung by hand in my workshop, with genuine obsidian stones that I select one at a time. That makes each piece one of a kind. You can read my story and how I work on the about page.
How do I look after my obsidian bracelet?
A soft cloth is usually all it takes. Avoid salt, harsh products and knocks, and take your bracelet off before showering or exercising. All my tips are in the guide to cleaning obsidian.
