The shimmer comes from a natural optical effect: microscopic gas bubbles and very fine inclusions, set in parallel layers as the lava cooled, diffract the light and throw back that characteristic golden glow. Every pendant is put together by hand in my workshop, in France. I choose the gold sheen bead one at a time, turning it under the lamp until I find the one where the golden eye really lights up, and I fix the stainless steel chain carefully, so the piece arriving at your door will last and look beautiful doing it.

Care: a soft cloth is all it takes for the stone; the stainless steel chain doesn’t rust and needs no special attention. Take the pendant off before exercising or showering to make it last. All my tips are in the care guide.
