Sterling silver, also called 925 silver, is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver, the ratio that gives the best balance between shine and durability. Unlike plating, which wears off over time, sterling silver keeps its quality for the long run, as long as it’s cared for regularly. It’s the material I use for every metal bead on this bracelet.
Paired with black obsidian, silver creates a contrast in material rather than a contrast in meaning: both have a reputation for restraint and durability, but one absorbs light while the other reflects it. The result is a bracelet that stays true to obsidian’s protective, grounding spirit while gaining polish and finish, better suited to an occasion, a gift, or simply anyone who prefers fine materials day to day.

Handcrafted by Camille
Every bracelet is assembled by hand in my workshop, in France. Pairing obsidian with silver calls for special attention to the polish of the metal beads, I choose each one for its shine, making sure none has a finishing flaw that would throw off the balance with the stone.

Care: a soft cloth is all it takes for the stone; for the sterling silver, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume and cosmetics, and polish it now and then with a suitable cloth to keep its shine. All my care tips are in the cleaning guide.
