The men’s black obsidian bracelet, a stone that never needed to try hard, black obsidian is volcanic glass, cut into blades by Aztec warriors long before it became jewellery. 10mm beads, deep matte black, no ornament. Handcrafted in my workshop, this is the one you wear every day without thinking about it.
There’s a very simple reason obsidian works as a men’s stone: it has nothing decorative about it. It’s a volcanic rock, magma cooled so fast it never had time to crystallise. The result is a naturally dense black glass with a razor-sharp fracture, Mesoamerican civilisations shaped it into blades, arrowheads and mirrors. This men’s obsidian bracelet keeps something of that raw material.
The difference from a unisex bracelet comes down to three things, and they matter: 10mm beads instead of 8, a longer strung wrist size, and a deliberately plain finish, no gold bead, no charm, no contrast. The piece stays legible under a shirt sleeve just as much as on a bare arm. It’s the piece I design for men who don’t usually wear jewellery.
In crystal healing, black obsidian is the protection and grounding stone par excellence. It’s said to shield against outside tension and pull you back to the concrete when your mind is racing, the reason many people wear it at work or during demanding periods. It has a reputation for being demanding itself: it doesn’t flatter you, it recentres you.

Handcrafted by Camille
Every bracelet is assembled by hand in my workshop, in France. On the men’s model, I string on a reinforced elastic cord: 10mm beads weigh noticeably more than 8mm ones, and a wider wrist puts more tension on the stringing. It’s an invisible detail that makes all the difference over time.
This bracelet was born from a question I kept hearing: “It’s really nice, but do you have anything less delicate?” So I picked wider beads, stripped away anything that looked like an ornament, and kept just the stone.
