The maker behind every piece

I'm Camille. It all started with a piece of obsidian my grandmother gave me, and the need, one day, to slow down and make something with my hands.

Today I make every piece in my studio in France: I choose the stones one by one, thread them myself, and slip a handwritten note into every parcel. No mass production, no treated stones, just natural obsidian and a great deal of attention.

What I hope for? That you wear a piece with a soul, one that really stays with you.

Welcome to my obsidian jewellery studio. Black obsidian is a volcanic glass formed when lava cools too quickly to crystallise; in crystal healing it is valued for protection, grounding and clarity. I make every piece by hand, from natural stones chosen one at a time.

You'll find bracelets, necklaces, pendants and rings in obsidian here, along with rainbow obsidian, gold sheen obsidian and mahogany obsidian. Every stone is natural and authentic, never dyed, never reconstituted.

Is your jewellery really handmade?
It is! I make every piece myself, in my studio, from stones I choose one by one. There's no mass production here, each piece is very slightly one of a kind.
What is black obsidian?
It's a volcanic glass that forms when silica-rich lava cools very quickly, without crystallising. Black, smooth and glossy, it's one of the best-loved stones in crystal healing for protection and grounding.
What are the properties of obsidian?
In crystal healing, obsidian is associated with protection, grounding, emotional release and mental clarity. These are traditional beliefs, not medical advice, and no therapeutic claim is made.
How do I care for my obsidian jewellery?
Cleanse your stone with smoke or a quick rinse under fresh water, then recharge it in moonlight. Avoid salt, which can damage the surface. I cover it all in my care guide.
How long does delivery to Australia take?
Because everything is handmade, I prepare your order within 2 to 4 days, then it ships tracked from my studio, usually 8 to 14 business days to Australia. Shipping is free on orders over $79, in packaging made to be gifted.
