Description

The sphere is one of the most powerful forms in sacred geometry. It stands for wholeness, completeness, the universe itself, no beginning, no end, in balance from every side. Worn as a pendant, a sphere becomes a constant point of re-centring. Every time your hand finds it, you come back to that idea of being whole.
And with this stone in particular, the shape does something no other cut can. Inside rainbow obsidian, the sheen comes from flat layers of magnetite set one on top of another as the lava cooled. Cut the stone flat and you see one slice through those layers. Carve it into a sphere and the surface crosses them at every angle at once, which is why the sheen so often reads as a ring, a halo, an eye. It’s the reason this variety is called obsidienne œil céleste in French, “celestial eye obsidian”: the sphere is the shape that lets the eye appear.
That sheen never shows up twice the same way. It shifts with the light, with the angle, with where you happen to be looking. It’s as though the stone were constantly inviting you to see differently, to look more deeply, a reminder that clarity isn’t a fixed thing. It moves, it changes, it adapts.
In crystal healing, this pairing of sphere and rainbow obsidian is said to be deeply introspective. It’s recommended for periods of transformation, of spiritual questioning, or simply when you need a profound inner clarity. Linked to the third eye chakra, it’s credited with helping you reach your intuition, and a vision beyond the visible.
The nylon chain is adjustable, so you can wear the pendant at the length that suits you. Unisex and timeless, it sits outside both gender and fashion.

I choose the rainbow obsidian sphere one at a time, holding it up to the light to check that the blue sheen is genuinely there, genuinely alive, and I fit the nylon chain carefully, so the piece arriving at your door is something out of the ordinary.
