On this bracelet, every black obsidian bead is precisely calibrated to 8.0mm, a detail that sounds minor but changes everything in the assembly. Uneven beads, even by a few tenths of a millimetre, create gaps or uneven tension on the elastic cord. Precise calibration guarantees a perfectly round bracelet, with no slack, that ages better over time.
In crystal healing, black obsidian keeps all its traditional properties here: it’s said to act as a protective barrier against outside tension and support grounding at the root chakra. Every bracelet is assembled by hand in my workshop, in France. For this model, I systematically sort the beads by size before stringing, a step many skip, but one that makes all the difference in how the bracelet holds up and looks in the end.
