Description
Deep black shot through with a blue sheen that traces an eye, the celestial eye obsidian bracelet is the most mysterious obsidian of them all. Shaped by hand from natural stones, it wears like a small inner mirror, for the moments you’re trying to see things more clearly.
Celestial eye obsidian owes its sheen to a rather beautiful optical effect: as the volcanic lava cooled, tiny magnetite inclusions set into fine layers within the glass. When light meets those layers it’s scattered, throwing back blue, silver or iridescent reflections, a little like the surface of a soap bubble. That sheen moves and changes intensity with the angle: you never see it exactly the same way twice. To understand this rare variety properly, see my complete celestial eye obsidian guide.
In crystal healing, this obsidian is regarded as the most “spiritual” of the family. It’s described as a mirror stone, one said to help you see what usually stays hidden, reach your intuition, find your way back to clarity. Linked to the third eye chakra, it’s associated with introspection and meditation. It keeps the protective grounding of black obsidian too, but turns it inward, towards inner vision.
Unisex and quietly captivating, this bracelet sits on a woman’s wrist as readily as a man’s. The stretch cord slips on without a clasp and adjusts comfortably to your wrist. Wear it on its own to watch its reflections, or alongside other natural stone bracelets, amethyst, rose quartz or lapis lazuli are good companions for intuition.

Every bracelet is put together by hand in my studio, in France. I choose the celestial eye obsidian beads one at a time, holding them up to the light to find where the blue eye is hiding, and check every finish, so that the piece arriving at your door is genuinely one of a kind.
Celestial eye obsidian is the stone that asks for the most patience when sorting. Each bead only gives up its sheen at a certain angle. That’s what makes this bracelet so special, it exists nowhere else, and the eye you’ll wear will speak to you in a way that will never repeat quite the same. You can read the story of the studio here.
“When I’m sorting celestial eye obsidian beads, I’m like a child hunting for buried treasure. The eye appears, disappears, changes colour with the light. It’s the bracelet I recommend to anyone going through a period of questions.”, Camille
Care: a soft cloth is all it takes. Avoid salt, knocks and prolonged water, and take it off before showering or exercising. All my tips are in the care guide.
