Black obsidian is a volcanic stone, born from lava cooling so abruptly it never formed a crystal structure, a natural glass that still holds the memory of how it formed. It’s a stone dense and heavy with meaning, yet it lends itself surprisingly well to delicacy: strung in 6mm beads, it stays discreet on the wrist without losing any of its presence.
That’s the whole difference between this bracelet and a unisex or men’s model: smaller beads, a softer cord, a result that slips under a sleeve or layers with other jewellery without overpowering them. Wear it alone, or pair it with a finer gold obsidian or celestial eye bracelet for a stack all in shades.

Handcrafted by Camille
Every bracelet is assembled by hand in my workshop, in France. For the women’s model, I work with 6mm beads, smaller, so there are more of them, which takes more patience to string but gives a much softer drape on the wrist.
I love this version because it proves a protection stone doesn’t need to be imposing to work. Many of my customers stack it with a more colourful bracelet, gold obsidian or celestial eye, and that’s exactly the use I had in mind when I designed it: a quiet foundation to build on.
