Hawk’s eye is a variety of fibrous quartz, a close cousin of tiger’s eye but in grey-blue tones rather than gold. Its name comes from its shimmering sheen, which evokes the piercing gaze of a bird of prey, a play of light that shifts across the stone depending on the angle you view it from. In crystal healing, this optical quality is traditionally associated with clear vision: seeing a situation from every angle before acting.

Handcrafted by Camille
Every bracelet is assembled by hand in my workshop, in France. For this duo, I make sure to balance how the two stones are distributed: not too much obsidian, which would overpower the shimmer of the hawk’s eye, nor too much hawk’s eye, which would dilute the depth of the black. It’s a balance of proportions I adjust by eye, bead by bead.
I love pairing these two stones because they complement each other without resembling one another, one is matte and absorbs light, the other reflects it.
